Affiliate disclosure
Last updated: August 2026
DeskRank participates in affiliate programs — currently the Amazon Associates Program — designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by linking to Amazon product pages.
In plain language: when you click a product link in one of our buying guides and buy something on Amazon, we may earn a small commission — typically 1–4% of the order. The price you pay is exactly the same whether or not you use our link. The commission comes out of Amazon's margin, not your pocket.
These commissions fund the site: the research behind each guide and the time spent writing honest reviews. Without affiliate income, independent comparisons at this scale wouldn't exist.
The important promises
- Our rankings are determined by research, never by commission rates.
- We don't accept payment for placement — no brand can buy a spot in our guides.
- Affiliate links are marked with
rel="sponsored"and disclosed on every page that uses them. - If a product is bad, we say so — even when it means no commission.
